Brazil and Israel released 3rd public notice for the submission of proposals for cooperation in industrial R&D

The third call for proposals for cooperation in research and industrial development of the Brazil-Israel Technological Cooperation Program was announced. Brazilian and Israeli companies in all sectors presented R&D proposals for projects in partnership. Participants had assistance in the process of looking for partners using the mechanism known as matchmaking, through the program’s website:

The initiative was part of the activities foreseen in the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Brazil and Israel in 2007. Companies are invited to elaborate proposals for cooperation in research and development (R&D) that result in the development of new products, processes or industrial application services. Their production can be directed to both the domestic and the global market.
The Cooperation Program is coordinated by the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade of Brazil (MDIC) and the MATIMOP, the Israeli Industry Center for R&D.
Israel provided resources for its companies through the Office of the Chief Scientist (OCS), while the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES) and the Financier of Studies and Projects (FINEP) were the financiers of Brazil.
